Yes! If you don't have internet and would like to download videos and tv shows from Prime Video to watch later, you can. 1. Download the title you want to watch from the Prime Video app by clicking the download option from the movie's detail page. 2. To download an episode or entire season of a TV show, click on the \"Download episode\" or \"Download the season\" option. When properly downloaded, you can cast pre-loaded content. If you don't see the download option first, ensure you're using the Prime Video app. Second, make sure that the app is updated. Some features of Chromecast get designed for Android users, although there are always workarounds for Apple fans. Those who use Android receive a seamless viewing experience." } }, "@type": "Question", "name": "Casting Prime Video isn't working for me. Your device may have a weak internet connection, or the devices aren't all connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Go to the network settings on your device and your smartphone or tablet. Ensure both connect to the most robust Wi-Fi possible and that they're on the same band (2.4Ghz or 5Ghz).Another issue with your video not casting correctly is that you may have the wrong input selected on your television. Using your TV remote, toggle between HDMI selections or verify which one the Chromecast uses by checking the connections on the back. If Prime Video is casting, you should see a message on your computer or smartphone screen that looks like this: If you're using a smartphone, you may need to check your low-power mode settings. The low-power mode can prevent casting because it's trying to preserve battery life. Toggle the option off and retry casting." ] } BODY .fancybox-containerz-index:200000BODY .fancybox-is-open .fancybox-bgopacity:0.87BODY .fancybox-bg background-color:#0f0f11BODY .fancybox-thumbs background-color:#ffffff "@context": " ", "@type": "BreadcrumbList", "itemListElement": [ "@type": "ListItem", "position": 1, "item": "@id": " -the-cord/", "name": "Entertainment" , "@type": "ListItem", "position": 2, "item": "@id": " -the-cord/streaming-services/", "name": "Services" , "@type": "ListItem", "position": 3, "item": "@id": " -the-cord/streaming-services/prime-video/", "name": "Prime Video" ] "@context": " ", "@type": "Article", "mainEntityOfPage": "@type": "WebPage", "@id": " -to-stream-amazon-prime-video-to-a-chromecast/" , "headline": "How to Stream Amazon Prime Video to a Chromecast", "image": [ " -content/uploads/2020/06/How-to-Stream-Amazon-Prime-Video-to-a-Chromecast.jpg?resize=1200%2C666&ssl=1", " -content/uploads/2020/06/How-to-Stream-Amazon-Prime-Video-to-a-Chromecast.jpg?resize=1200%2C666&ssl=1", " -content/uploads/2020/06/How-to-Stream-Amazon-Prime-Video-to-a-Chromecast.jpg?resize=1200%2C666&ssl=1", " -content/uploads/2020/06/How-to-Stream-Amazon-Prime-Video-to-a-Chromecast.jpg?fit=1200%2C666&ssl=1", " -content/uploads/2017/11/chromecasthdmi.jpg", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Prime05-176x300.jpg", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Prime06.jpg", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Prime01.jpg", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Prime02.jpg", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Prime03.jpg", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Prime04.jpg", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Prime07.jpg", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Prime08.jpg", " -content/uploads/2022/02/Chrome-Browser-Cast-option.png", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Prime003.jpg", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Prime002.jpg", " -content/uploads/2020/06/Chromecast-300x235.jpg" ], "datePublished": "2020-06-10T00:00:00+00:00", "dateModified": "2022-07-29T20:37:08-06:00", "author": "@type": "Person", "name": "Lee Stanton" , "publisher": "@type": "Organization", "name": "Alphr", "logo": "@type": "ImageObject", "url": " -content/themes/alphr/images/logo_new.svg" , "description": "If you are a long-term Amazon Prime Video user, you are probably aware of the complete lack of support for most things Google-related. If you are not able to wirelessly cast or if you have guests visiting your offices that aren't on your WiFi network, you can also project content from your computer to Vibe with an HDMI cable. Using an HDMI cable is also recommended when showing videos on Vibe from another device. Please see this article on How to use HDMI with Vibe for more details.
Chromecast not showing up on Windows computer
I am trying to cast from a Windows 11 desktop to a Chromecast. I am in a school, operating on the school wifi. The room that I am trying to cast in (hereafter referred to as "The Great Room") is surrounded by other classrooms, several of which are also using chromecasts. When I click "Cast" in google chrome on my Windows 11, I can see several of the chromecasts in other classrooms, but not the one in The Great Room that I am trying to cast to. However, I can detect The Great Room Chromecast from a chromebook located on the same desk as the windows 11.
Sometimes your device automatically blocks the media sharing and all the wireless file sharing features. This is the most common feature behind the Chromecast not working. To do this, you need to open windows services and look for windows media player network sharing service and right-click on it and enable the service. If the service already running on your computer, then you can simply right-click and restart your service. Now, you need to save all the changes and check whether you can connect Chromecast properly or not. 2ff7e9595c
